ABOUT DON COOPER
My earliest recollection of cars is of the late 50's and early 60's are when my father and a friend were building Roundy Round cars for the Edmonton Race Track. Since then my love for cars has grown. I have been involved with drag racing, show cars, and street/hot rods. I am a licensed mechanic for 35 years, a government inspector for out of province vehicles, Southern Alberta representative for Good Guys and Past President of the Specialty Vehicle Association of Alberta (which is a lobby group representing the hobbyist with the provincial government). I am an Automobile Appraiser and a founding/charter member of the Specialty Vehicle Appraisal Institute of Alberta. I am also a past director of the NAAACCC.
ABOUT STREET ROD CORNER
You will find that we operate a little different than most of the big name Street Rod shops. The difference is that we are small enough to really appreciate your business. With the help of my wife and many others, ranging from teenage to older enthusiasts who bring their hands on experience and knowledge, our goal is to offer our customers a warm friendly country attitude.
The big guys seem to forget who pays the bills... we sell the parts, we work on cars and we still sweep the floors. We take care of our customers!
