Installing a Direct Sheet Metal Recesed Firewall
All the excess old firewall was removed by drilling out the spot rivets as well as cutting where it was necessary.
All the surfaces were cleaned and the firewall was test fitted many times.
POR 15 was applied to help where ther may have been a chance of any rust.
After the final fitting the firewall was welded in to place, this was done through the old spot weld holes were possible.
New holes where drilled where needed.
Watch as we clean it up and prepare for primer for protection as we carry on.
